Now that I’m in Belgaum (update: I’ve moved back to Bangalore), I’ve been in touch with people around here. Through friends over here I got to know about this wonderful restaurant called “The Hidden Door”. The experience was very good!
I loved the food and the conversations with the people who run the restaurant. We had a lot of ideas bouncing around regarding food, ice creams and especially chocolates! It was nice to see their wood fired pizza oven. Their place has been nicely done and they are always improving their menu! Talk to them to taste things that are not on the menu yet!!
Over many conversations like these, the owners told me that they are all in for helping local artists grow and showcase their work. They were very gracious in allowing me to showcase my work there on the 12th of October, 2019. I had wonderful conversations with the patrons there who were from different backgrounds. This experience was unlike having a table at an exhibition where people are just rushing through and had no time to interact!
Here are some pictures from my table there and also some of the restaurant too! Do make sure you join “The Hidden Door” on facebook and instagram pages to see their new additions to their menu and I hope that you would go to their place. They have lovely Italian & Continental food along with a cafe menu and wood fired Pizzas!
