I have had the privilege to have some wonderful people from all walks of life as my students. Some were enjoying their retirement, some came from the IT and finance sector and had no prior art or drawing experience. There were also some from the advertising and visual merchandising sectors looking to up-skill themselves. Students from fashion design, animation, fine arts have benefited a lot in exploring the sculptural form. Here are some students works from my classes:
Workshops – Natural Clay
I had an amazing time
I had an amazing time learning the basics of sculpting with Barney.
He is a very patient teacher and will see to it that you learn it the correct way.
I always thought one needs to be good at sketching before you attempt sculpture but this begineer class helped me to learn techniques that will now give me more confidence.
Thanks Sculptmonkey for coming up with this course. Looking forward to more in the future!
Sculpture workshop….an insight to a beginner
Workshop on sculpture walked me through a different dimension to pottery involving different approach than what I knew about pottery as a basic student. It was interesting, little difficult to understand fully and follow the concepts immediately within the limited time. But the icing was the final technique he taught us which was real shocker and surprise 🫢. Mr.Barney with his gentle and patient teaching made it very interesting and memorable for me. On the whole it was a useful, informative and interesting five hours🙏. Thank you Mr Barney for a wonderful session and thank you Ms.Swathy for organizing this workshop..

He is extremely patient while teaching
Barney, no not Barney Stinson! But he is just as funny and legen-wait-for-it-darrry!!! He is extremely patient while teaching and will sit and listen to your stories while you strive to complete your “masterpiece”.
I’ve benefited immensely
I’ve benefited immensely, from clay modelling classes at Sculpt Monkey. The instructor has in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and is an expert w.r.t intricate details like muscle flow and bone structure.

Sculpting in Polymer Clay
Human sculpture
Mr. Barney was my tutor when I signed up for this course, he was very patient and dedicated in my sessions even though I was taking longer time to learn.
My tutor will provide guidance and support whenever required as long I’m able to deliver the desirable outcome. I strongly recommend others to enroll with Mr. Barney as this art is definitely is a worth to learn and highly potential for people to start own entrepreneurship.
